A lot of the talk from yesterdays game revolves around the sending off, and how United got lucky.

I may have missed it, but it seems nobody has mentioned Kouyates tackle (no smutty comments please) on Miki. The ref may well have been harsh with the sending off, but he also missed a red card with Kouyate.

Like others have said, these things even themselves out over time. We were on the end of a load of bad decisions earlier in the season, but we have benefitted from a few lately too.

Don' t worry 002, no ideas of conspiracy or whinging. Just saying :)

{Ed002's Note - It is exactly what you are doing Betty - looking for conspiracies, etc.. Laughable.}

I must have missed something there ed. is Betty not just saying luck seems to run both ways?

Oh come off it Ed, I am doing nothing of the sort - and that is quite clear if you read it properly. I actually said we have benefitted of late.
My point was clear - that luck and decisions even themselves out.

{Ed002's Note - Over a season they may do Betty but not normally during a game.}

You've got to remember Ed002 is a Chelsea fan so heaven forbid he admits United deserve a bit of luck, or indeed that they've had more decisions go against them so far this season.

{Ed002's Note - Firstly I am not a "fan" of anything and, secondly, if you understood the game or any related aspect you would not need to act like a complete glifnard. You are very embarrassing to yourself and the Manchester United fans.}

Did anybody else have to google the meaning of glifnard?

Sorry Gilly, this isn't in any way a dig at you it just made me literally laugh out loud at work when i saw the meaning of glifnard!

Likewise I had to google the meaning of it, and incidentally, when I googled 'Glifnard', a facebook page called the 'Ed002 appreciation society' was the top result below the definition. A favourite insult of yours perhaps? Also, I would've thought you might've realised my reply was somewhat in jest, although, despite not being a regular poster, I've been reading the site occasionally for years and always had the impression you supported Chelsea?

{Ed002's Note - I do support Chelsea - perhaps you don't know the difference between a "fan" and a "supporter"?

Ed, I must say I saw that response coming, you're splitting hairs a bit now, and the difference between the meanings of the two words is somewhat negligible.

{Ed002's Note - You are clearly far from the brightest, so I will explain.

The word "fan" derives from the word "fanatic" which would be someone who could be described as zealously keen on their team (e.g. Liverpool, Everton, Third Lanark), a particular player (e.g. Ronaldo and Messi will no doubt have "fan" clubs) or perhaps the singer from a beat music combo such as the Beatles, Cliff Richard or, favorites of mine, the Frumious Bandersnatch.

Supporters tend to be much more calm and cheerful people (not like the vein-popping, eye-bulging, tattooed, knuckle-dragging, bonehead fans whose ugly slobbering faces are pressed against the windows of the opposition coaches). They often have nice cream heavy-knit jumpers and own lilac-colored labradoodles that they are teaching to talk. They often carry very small combs that they use to groom their mustaches.}
