Do any of the eds know if carrick will be getting a new contract at the end of the season or will he be retiring?

Cant help but think it would be a waste to not give him another year, don't think we've lost with him in the team this season and he still looks more than capable of playing one game a week.

Out of the elder statesman (rooney, zlatan and carrick) i know who i would be hoping is here next season.

We've only lost the one time to Hull 2-1 with him in the team this season, but agreed he's been immense.

I think he's an excellent backup choice and can still give us 20 odd games next season. I would be very surprised and gutted if he doesn't get an extension. Jose was the one who gave him one just after LVG decided not to.
