Do we go to a 343 formation and put Valencia and Shaw on the wings. The only issue are we have 3 fit CBs available unless we call up and give Tuanzabe some game time, which i'm all for.
We need to stop playing those tedious long balls. Pace and intelligent passing at a high tempo is what we need. Drag the opposition out of position.

I think Mourinho has got to give Shaw a shot in a back 4 with Carrick holding midfield. So when full backs fly up the wing he drops in to make a 3 with Bailly and Rojo.
We have nothing to lose at the minute as our full back attacking play is currently useless.
I would then have Herera plugging the midfield and allow Pogba to push slightly forward.

Agreed Brad. The thing that has really annoyed me about the Shaw situation, apart from it being public humiliation of the lad. Is that we have had zero service from the left back position all season, no matter who has played there.

Shaw is the only quality left back we have. Surely it was critical for JM to get Shaw playing again. He has gone about it in completely the wrong way. Just like he did at Real Madrid and Chelsea. Sir Bobby was right! Watch out Luke, he'll be poking you in the eye next!

The reason for the tedious long balls is we cater for Zlatan. he's actually stopped making any kind of movement because he knows the ball will come to him. Last couple times he's played he couldn't have sprinted for more than 10 secs per match. Also he's has 112 shots this season. Scored 16 goals in the PL. Let that sink in.

Shaw looked like he was well up for it and played well on Tuesday from what I could see, players all need managing in different ways, Jose obviously thinks a quiet word hasn't worked so has tried a different method to get him going, every time he has been given a chance before Tuesday he has been poor so hopefully this will be a turning point. Great management if so.
