I was having a conversation with some fellow fans about Pogba and the split was pretty similar to the chat we have on here.
One interesting point raised was whether for the rest of the season to play him further forward and not expecting him to do the defensive work. Now this is not mourinho style but we maybe would get the most out of him.
Previously he had marchisio and vidal putting the shift in so maybe we let Herera and the Wig do that!

{Ed004's Note - Don't think Fellaini could be as effective as the other two in that role}

Personally, I think he's been very hit and miss this season. Can be frustrating at times on the ball, but then you see the pass he made for Rashford to set up the first goal - 30 yards along the ground, with just enough bend on it to split the defence and put it right into Rashford's path, and you think, this guy could be special.

I personally think he is going to be quality for us over the coming years so long as we play him the right way. We all focus on the bad and ignore the good.
Ed, you might be right on the Wig and he is good option to bring on from bench. Maybe Carrick and Herera can work in tandem.

{Ed004's Note - I think that would probably work better}

If he wants to be great he needs to work harder off the ball.

Utter nonsense. The true test of a amazing players is the view of his fellow professionals. We now laud scholes as truly world class but only after the likes of iniesta xavi and guardiola point out his strengths and their reverence for him whilst we fans valued players such as giggsy keane and Beckham on a par or ahead of him. The quiet and deadly unsung hero. Pogba is absokutely vital and central to all that has been good about utd this season and he makes others (mhiki rashford herrera and latterly even fellaini) look like world beaters. The kid is unbelievable for a 23 year old and in my view has carried us without credit in many games this season. He dies the hard graft, the unheralded disruption of opponents play and speed of counter attack incredibly well and has been massively let down in his assists by a hugely wasteful forward line. The guy is pure class and gives his all virtually every game and lifts the team and the dressing room whilst carrying the burden of the world's most expensive player at the age of 23 and joined us without ECL and knowing the task at hand was far from easy. He had and could have taken easier options and anyone criticising him is a sad excuse for a utd fan and lacks analytical insight of what it takes to be a true red at heart with a goal to out utd on top of the world once again!

{Ed007's Note - Ach at least the rest of the little people on here have got a 'real' fan and tactical genius like you to keep them right.}

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit 007. If you have a counter opinion then say so.

{Ed007's Note - At least use the quote in it's entirety,

"Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but the highest form of intelligence.”

My counter opinion is that you are no better a supporter or more knowledgeable than any other poster and anyone that thinks otherwise probably has some issues and a smal penis.}

Cheshire, I think I can safely speak for the rest of us fools, who at some point or other may have mentioned that Pogba may have areas where he can still improve. I consider myself suitably admonished. You are indeed, the font of all football knowledge, and have shown the rest of us mere mortals up for the idiots we truly are. Apologies.

Wow. Take a deep breath before reading. I Can't actually tell if that is sarcastic Cheshire, and I'm a massive PP fan.

{Ed007's Note - I doubt it was sarcastic as he accused me of being sarcastic and said it was the lowest form of wit - I was going for facetious.}

@Jred To me Scholes is been the best player i have ever watched wearing a utd shirt. He was the one that made everything happen, click. Yea, Cantona, Ronaldo, Giggsy scored more goals but Scholes in my eyes was the most talented one.
