I have a tear in my eye this morning, my thoughts and prayers for those affected last night in my home city, Reds or Blues my thoughts are with you, targeting children is just appalling.

Whilst I'm not from Manchester I echo your sentiments, my immediate thoughts went to Brendan81 who only yesterday spoke of taking his daughter to parties.

It seems this is what many many parents were doing.

My heart goes to everyone affected last night, my girlfriend works in Manchester and I regularly go into Manchester myself, can't put my own words on this, it's so sad to see this happening, what makes this even worse that young innocent life's have been taken.

What sort of mindlessness must be present in someone, to make them target kids? So many friends and family in Manchester. Used to be over so much, it was like my second home. Hope all the posters on here from Manchester and their loved ones are safe. #onelove.

Awful news. it really hits you when you see these attacks especially when you have daughters who love arinna grande. I can't imagine the good people who have been affected from Manchester. an attack on young people is beyond evil.
