Meaning the cash off bale, kroos and varane has meaning . I may be optimistic if they had lost to juventos it was more likely.

Hi Slate. The original post didn't make sense. But agree with you that we consider ourselves the biggest club in the world, but in footballing terms, we're 4th division compared to Real.
You're right, it makes for depressing watching.

Nah scm my point was real are not going to deal with us if we don't involve de gea they are rich to . they would like de gea and I'm guessing we would like a few of there's, because of their success they may not want to deal . I'd hate to lose de gea but if the whole team were overall strengthened so be it . My point was if they were to buy de gea, hazard and mbappe then they may need to recoup some money, making utds chances of landing bale kroos or varane better, I apologise if my original post was unclear.

I will never understand this notion of selling ddg to strengthen the team, we are not everton or liverpool folks, we can get good players without having to sell our best player. How does weakening our defence to improve our attack or midfield improving the team, it is robbing paul to pay peter.

Real will deal with us because we have more money than sense, are willing to hand them large sums of it, more so than any other team. Their results are totally irrelevant.

Keeping Ddg and signing quality players from other teams is the only way forward in my humble opinion. Sets a precedent that we are not interested in selling our best players and signals intentions of building a team to compete with Europe's elite. With the financial backing no reason why mourinho can't have us as challengers at the top table again. We don't need Madrid cast offs or bargain tools.

We should try and keep all our best players and buy players that are better than what we have.
Real will only sell us their unwanted players. In truth, I want any of Marcello, Kroos, isco, modric and verane but I don't think we have a chance of getting them. Real want to keep their best players and the players want to be there. It's a fact which we have to live with.
That's why it's imperative we have a good scouting system in place.
