Quick post on Griezmann.

If the reports coming out are true, it seems as if Griezmann wanted a move to United, but once atletico's transfer ban was upheld he showed true class and loyalty by refusing to leave if hey couldn't bring in a replacement. Atletico rewards him with a boost in pay and by not raising the buyout from the level united have made clear they are willing to pay. United leaks a "cooled our interest" statement to save face without placing blame or insulting Antoine or atletico . Granted, some is speculation, and obviously I'd rather not wait a year to sign such a player, but if this is all true it seems like the player, Madrid and united all acted with class, with no one placing the blame and all relationships in tact. Refreshingly classy by all parties involved.

The buyout clause is of no consequence to united how many times!

Isn't the release clause irrelevant and not the buyout clause?
