Used to want Ronaldo to come back few years back. However I am not too sure now since he has won whatever there is with RM. I am also hesitant as Ronaldo as we know is a selfish person (nothing bad about that) but I think though he would put some of our strikers to shame I am not sure we can buy him back cheap. Maybe only for marketing purposes. Also he is not the type of player who would run back for defence.
Hence even though idealistically I would want him back but realistically I am not sure if we should put a price RM wants. My thoughts are that I'd rather use the money to buy Mbappe. He would have value and mileage for us.
Pls feel free to disagree. Would like to hear views.

With a player like Ronaldo you just don't think about anything if he is available . That's my view anyway.

What striker normally runs back to defence. We need a striker who has a killer instinct and is going to add a difference to our team.

Without a doubt if there is any chance to sign Ronaldo I couldn't care what the price was or how much he wants paying I would snap at it.

Who else is out there we can buy that would guarantee to have an effect?

when he left he was the best player in the premiership, if, and its a big if, he were to return this year he would still be the best player by a country mile. Not a bad achievement.

Ronaldo on a free, absolutely. Anything more than 50mil for a 32 year old is INSANE even in today's market. I'd rather spend 60 mil on Morata than Ronaldo. Ronaldos ability is only going to go down from here.
