Instead of bidding for Ronaldo, would it be worth putting a bid in for Sunderland?

We could strip the club for assets and bring out Fergie for a lap of honour reminding them of when they cheered City's title every time they're relegated.

I think it's a good idea in principal, but where would you play it? Right back maybe?

Also, if people are worried that Ronaldo is too old at 32, perhaps they should remember that Sunderland AFC is 138 and has been in decline for years.
