I know it's early a
days but anyone abit worried about lindelof? looks no worse than what we already have at the moment.

It's early days and difficult to judge on few pre-season games.

But considering his performances so far. should not be an automatic starter.

I think you have to view the mistakes in view of his overall ability. Yes, he has had a few growing pains, but so did Vidic and Evra, and look how they turned out. You can see that he is a real footballer with a lot of ability, he just needs time to settle in. We may start with Jones and Bailly at center back, but I think Lindelof will prove himself in time.

Just like we can't judge us positively based on friendlies you also can't judge us negatively, the mistake last night was just because he is a yard slower than he would be at full fitness, none of the players are up to speed yet and he will take a little time to settle. This is why Jose wants players in for pre-season, we would all rather that happened last night with a month to go than him doing that to little pea in the first league game.
