I've seen a few reports this morning talking about Jose Mourinho being a short term manager and the Matic deal proving it. The guy has bought mainly very high quality players in their early twenties, Bailly, Pogba, Lindolf, Lukaku and potentially Aurier he's defiantly building for the future with a few experienced heads at their peak in there too.

I'd love to see us get Dembele of Dortmund, that lad had future.

I never understood the hype behind Dembele. He's good but not better than Rashford at this moment. He looks selfish whenever I see him play. Wouldn't say no to him but in this market we'll pay way over the odds. There are other players better than him out there. If Sane and Jesus cost around 30-35m then right now dembele is worth 25m.

I think he means the lad at dortmund not celtic. Imo he is better than sane.

Yup talking about the same Dembele. The thing about Dortmund hat people don't seem to understand is their playing style. Kagawa looked world class with them, so did Mkhitaryan. They didn't light up the PL with us (yet) . Dembele was a replacement for Mkhitaryan and though he is a good player, he is far away in performances. He is not good enough to command a price tag above 30m right now. His playing style at this young age is best suited to Liverpool. Of course he might get better with time at other aspects of his game.

Sailor did you just say Jesus, who has only played handful of games for City, is better than Ousmane Dembele who has performed for more than just the half season at the higher level than well we have to agree to disagree. O. Dembele for me is up there with Mbappe as "the" guy for the future Ballon'dor winner.

Or did you not read the post properly before slating someone?

Deependra, I agree the lad just lacks consistency at the moment. He got 11 goals and 18 assists in his first season in Germany. Don't forget he's just a kid, he had a great season in France last year and has backed it up by doing it again in a new country. If we are looking for a player to play across the front 3 he's surely got to be worth a look.
