Delighted with that performance. Each and every playee played well including the 3 subs. Great for Rom to get off to a flyer. Movement from mata miki and pogba was great and matic playing enables those guys to have better movement because he screens from behind so expertly.
A great start and obviously tougher challenges lye ahead. But jose is one if the best front runners in the business. Confidence and momentum is huge i see the players saying the right things for the first time really since fergie their appears to be a real hunger and desire to succeed and win. Pogs matic lukaku mata herrera miki all coming across as desperste to succeed and that's what we want to see and hear.

Good post ken. Was overjoyed with how we played. Was just chatting to a mate after the game and remarked how I haven't enjoyed a game or seen us play that well in a long long time.

The managers attitude mirrored the teams performance today. And long may it continue. There seems to be a togetherness and belief there that has been missing for a few seasons. Great to see.

Things are looking good.
We look like a good team now.
Matic does his job very effective.
A player that I wasn't bothered if we didn't sign now looks to be the signing of the summer.
Frees up other players to get forward.
