After watching yesterday's game just for a bit of fun what positions need sorting and who would you buy if you could.

The same positions as before stand out as needing strengthening.

A couple of full backs as Valencia has no real competition and is 32 and won't be able to play all the games. And Shaw has yet to show he can fullfil his potential or stay fit long enough to. Blind was okay, same as Darmian. But if we signed one of Rose or Bertrand along with Aurier then we would be sorted for several years.

Possibly a winger who can go down the outside rather than always cutting in would be useful for some games. But to be honest with Rashford and Martials form yesterday and their ability to drive at teams along with the creativity of Mata and Mkhitaryan we look well stocked. Add to that Lingard and Andreas Pereira we should be fine if no winger comes in.

I like the depth we have up front and in midfield. Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Lingard Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Carrick, Pereira and Fellaini. All vying for 6 spots in the team.

I agree, prioritise a couple of full backs to create width when required over the next couple of windows. Perhaps another position will become evident during the season but right now that's it as far as I'm concerned.

For me, another left back. If Lindelof can play right back then he, Darmian, and Tuanzebe will be more than adequate cover there. Possibly another midfielder, but whoever it is will need to know they're probably not going to get much playing time, with Pogba and Matic being automatic choices.

The one player I'm rather hoping we do not bring back is Ibra, unless he's willing to play second fiddle, which I doubt. I'd rather we waited for Griezmann, or another signature signing, than overspend on more squad filler. It will be better for team building and confidence to use the younger players we have now. Great managers do more than hope players develop, they build an atmosphere of confidence, then demand and expect it. Fergie's teams were always more than the sum of the parts.

If we can sign 2 fullbacks before the deadline that would really make the transfer window a success and push the team on even further.
