The most important thing to come out of Arsenal's thrashing is United fans going mental to sign Alexis Sanchez. So many tweets asking the club to announce Sanchez.

I cringe at all them tweets, you can tell it's a bunch of armchair fans who never go to games just demanding new players yet give nothing back to the club.

Why would everyone of them be "armchair fans"

Does it make anyone less of a fan because they don't go to the games?

Does it make me less of a fan because I no longer have my season ticket.

I still watch every game and buy the top doesn't mean I'm less of a fan than someone who goes to every game.

I still pay a subscription to the tv company's and internet provider who I use to watch the games.

{Ed004's Note - We have had this debate before and it gets very tedious quickly}

I wasn't wanting a debate ed004 I just said my opinion on the transfer beggers on Twitter. If an arm chair fan has took it personally than I apologise for that.

Stretford "arm chair fan" hasn't offended me as I don't consider myself to be an armchair fan nor anyone else to be one that doesn't have a season ticket.

If it wasn't for the billions of arm chair fans and there worthless pennies as you call them the club wouldn't be anywhere near the club we are.

I hate when people talk about 'arm chair fans' and 'deadwood players'. so are we saying that you can only support a club when you hold a season ticket? Does it mean you support our club more because you don't go everyweek? No it doesn't.

There will always be fans that think they are better fans or support the cub in a better way than the next man. Unfortunatly we see comments like that on here from time to time. Its hard to ignore the arrogance and ignorance of such statements but you have to understand that they are probably coming from very small minded arrogant people full of their own importance.

{Ed001's Note - don't worry ken, I deleted the bit where you said you know you are a far better fan than any of them..... ;-)

Without the so called armchair fans and the mountains of cash that they pay in tv subscriptions to watch their clubs then the ridiculous amounts of money we all spend on players wouldn't exist.

Also I will say this I'm an armchair fan I only get to go about 6/ 7 times a season and it's a massive deal for me to go at a lot of expense I can assure you that I love the club as much as anyone including the "real fans"

Thanks 001 but everybody supports the club in their own way. We will all disagree on team selection on players ability and contribution. We will agree and disagree with players bought and sold and managerial appointments etc etc. But at the end of the day we all want the same thing and that is for the club to be thriving, succesful and hope that the club and all its staff conduct themselves in a good manner so that we can all continue to be proud of the club we love. I sort if assume that is what 99% of supporters want for and from their club of choice.

{Ed001's Note - I know mate I was kidding. Just to be clear I never deleted anything from ken's posts other than his declarations of undying love for me.}
