Why do you really want a new player? Don't get me wrong I'd like Sanchez but I'm more than happy with the squad we've got I think it's great that we really don't need to scramble round trying to get a deal over the line and we can sit back, relax and watch everyone else panic.

At this late in the day it would need to be top quality like a Sanchez or Bale but there are no murmurings at all.
I think Mourinho wanted his players early and the early season form has convinced we don't need to over stretch.
Money saved to add the 3/ 4 extra he may want. Next year with Griezman and replacement RB. With hopefully Shaw improving at LB.
Quality over quantity and for me thus window shows Mourinho is planning for the long term stay otherwise we would be going for anybody.

Mad hatter. Unfortunately I think our business is done. Underwhelming window after the excellent signings of lukaku and matic.
A left back and winger would have put us to another level. But lukaku has replaced zlatan for now. While matic has replaced Carrick. Still no left back, left winger or any attacker of world class quality.
Top4 for me.

I completely agree with you. Hopefully Perreira will step up and be like a new signing. Time will tell.

I don't see how our window has been underwhelming. If we'd signed nobody and the brought in Matic, Lukaku and Lindelof on the last day we'd prob all be quite excited by it all. It's just we had the good sense to do it early.
