Transfer window

Cons:

Personally I feel you shouldn't rest on your laurels and should always be looking to strengthen, there's a few players available that I feel would strengthen our squad no end (Sanchez / VVD) . I also worry that we are an injury or two (namely Matic) from going back to last years form.

Positives:

We've address a couple of really important areas, all the signs are there that we should be able to make a sustained challenge for the league. We did our business early and benefited as a result of this.

Overall I'm chuffed with the window, certainly stronger than last year, it would appear likely we will get top four and build from there perhaps even win it. The only rival I feel addressed issues in there squad is city, Liverpool arsenal and Chelsea all have not IMO and are a similar strength to last year, if not weaker.

May I take this opportunity, in what is the penultimate hours of the window, to thank all the Eds for their hard work, it's been great checking the page for updates and engaging in conversation. Well done to you all.

I think it helps that so many other title contenders had horrific windows overall we probably addressed our weaknesses better than others and have some depth to our squad.

I think Liverpool have strengthened salah looks direct and they look more balanced and are a real attacking threat i read they Jane 7 clean sheets in last nine prem matches that's not too shabby. I still think klopp is capable of clutching defeat from the jaws of victory and will cock it up if they get close to winning anything. So that's of great comfort😂
Echo everything you said re the eds. i'd love to see more of ed025 on this page too. Great ed for the banter and a real straight talker.
