Good sign of winning while not paying well.

Every week?

Yes Beast, if we win every single week this season without playing well what do you think we will get come May? That's right a nice big EPL title and a god damn parade. If we do that in all the cup competitions we'll have a UCL, an FA cup and a EFL cup as well.
And if that happens I can guarantee you you'll be the only can unhappy with it.

Why so extreme?

I'll be happy we won things for about 30 minutes after the success, but then disappointed that I dedicated 90+hours of my life watching underwhelming performances. I watch to be entertained and hope to see players fulfill their potential. Granted most watch for the end result so I'm sure you and they will be delighted if we win every game 1-0 from now until the end of the season.

I value my free time, I dedicate a large proportion of it to watching and discussing the club, but some people may be at the point in life where they don't get to hammer their City mates/ colleagues, or rebut abuse on a daily basis on account of things happening out of your control. Horses for courses mate, unfortunately I will not be lifting these cups, receiving big bonuses or attending the parade - but I will live in hope that we start playing like the Man Utd I and many others fell in love with.

Stop watching then beast.

You've done some moaning the past 4 seasons but continue to watch. So obviously not that disappointed that you dedicated so much time over the last number of years.

we can tell how valuable your time is, with the long rants the moment a game finishes.

u can sit on your high horse and berate mourinho (and as a direct consequence, your "beloved" club) all u want, but it's just that, moaning and sour grapes from a truly negative person.

The fact of the matter is, mourinho is in charge and the whole of footballing world is observant enuff to pick up on the progress this team has made under him.

yesterday was a tough game, heck Southampton players have, for the past couple of trips there, given a very good account for themselves. I truly feel for them, the way they play, they should be at least a top6 or 7 team consistently.

Beast, seriously go drink a ton e of koolaid.

Don't tell me what to do Angel - I've explained above "I live in hope". I also enjoyed West Ham. Fickle fans stop watching and in my opinion, if we lost these games 1-0 instead of won (which easily could happen most weeks), this website would be going mental.

But we did not lose that game. If we were playing like that last season, United's defence would have found a way to concede a late goal to lose or draw the game. The fact that we won the game despite not playing well is improvement in itself.

Oh my personal troll is back, I come on here to talk about Man Utd, you come on here to talk about Beast. You'd be the first to drink the Beast Koolaid pal given a chance - but as it happens this is the last response you garner from me, you'll have to suffer in your own little world.

It's just a point I'm making beast, you moan about your valuable time and being extremely disappointed but you continue to watch. So it's obviously not that disappointing for you.

Angel - I know what you mean, but just like Shappy's post it's about extremes all the time. I am not enjoying watching Utd nearly as much as I used to. I had about 20 years of enjoying the majority of games, 4-5 years of being bored more than entertained is frustrating but on the whole I am enriched by supporting Utd. I expect us to leave 3rd gear any day now, it's the pointless waiting that irks me.

We all have busy lives I'm sure, football is primarily for entertainment no matter what anybody says. Winning things is great, but fundamentally the only people that benefit from that are the people directly participating, we obviously enjoy the feeling of winning, but it's by-proxy and before you know it a new season is upon us. So I'd rather watch a game seeing beautiful football, fast play, teamwork, chances being created etc. Jose isn't known for that so it's a bit annoying for me, however the West Ham match and first half against Burton were a joy to behold. I see no reason why we can't play like that more often, or even try to play like that.

Here's one of my crap analogies - Like having a really hot and smart bird, that never bothers to put on makeup and lies in bed all day drinking and smoking fags rather than doing nice things together. Sure you get to enjoy your time in the sack (winning games), but you could be doing so much more together (play entertaining football) - you know there is so much more she is capable of, but constantly feeling disappointed about unmet potential is annoying.

yup your right beast, it really is a crap analogy!
