I know its two weeks away yet, but what do you guys think is the best way to beat the scouser's? Defensive minded etc or completely match up to them man to man and attack?

Pogba being out could actually be a blessing.

Herrera, Miki Mata midfield is slightly more defensive but plenty still going forward.

I would stick with Mata plus the form player of Rashford and Martial assuming everyone is fit.

I like the look of Young at left back, but he might get caught out defensively.

Definitely need to take them on, but Jose will not play open and expansive, no way.

Jose will know best. i'd rather go at them try to exoose their weakness but if jose parks the bus and we win 1 nil then i'd be delighted.

We need to keep in mind that liverpool are at their best when teams go out and have a go at them. Best way to beat them is tactically. I believe Jose will setup the Jose way.

We need to be sensible but I think their defence is very suspect so we should get after them. Our attack is looking good and we should be confident in their ability to unsettle their defence.

We have the speed to do them on the counter. If we can beat their press our attack can expose their defense which always sits high up the pitch. Personally I have no doubt well will beat them.

I think we will play it tight as you don't go away to anfield and go gungho. They are very suspect defensively if you play it the right way. Mane and coutinho are the the players we need to keep in check. the rest of that team will not pose too many problems for us.

How is this even a question? Play Mourinho football, prob a 5 man backline so the fb can lay on Mane and Salah, with Herrera and Matic as a shield for the 5 man defence. Play long balls on Lukaku, win a couple set pieces (50/ 50 scoring chanse against liverpool) . Easy pickings.
