I'm not a fan of changing rules in football but now and then they are for the better can't pick up a back pass and 3 points for a win not 2.
Heard someone say why not no points for a nil nil draw, coaches seem able to set a team up in a way that forgoing attacking options they can be difficult to break down . no manager is trying not to score but it's clearly a secondary concern sometimes. not that many games finish goalless so it wouldn't effect the table much but it may effect the mindset of coaches. Games like the pool game millions around the world would be gripped knowing something's got to give not bored . Every coaches gameplay must include a plan to score or there will be no reward . it's just a throw away idea I heard and maybe it's the attacking teams job to break a team down however defensive the other team is . There's been good goalless draws but normally they are pants . maybe the actual phrase park the bus has just highlighted it more and it's always been a big part of football.

Or how about for every 10 goals you have in the goal difference bracket you get an extra point at the end of the season. So if you finish with a goal difference of +45 say you would get an extra 4 points at the end of the season. If it was +22 then 2 points, +58 would be 5 points.

Surely that would make games entertaining for the whole 90 minutes as every goal would count. No point getting 2-0 up in the first half and shutting up shop. As clearly you have a chance to score a couple more goals.

I like both ideas, my idea for the manager below was kind of trying to achieve similar things for just Man Utd, but it would improve every game if there was more emphasis placed on winning by as high a margin as possible in every game.

Too many games are attack vs defence at the minute, with defence simply stifling hoping to nick a goal last 10mins. The cost for failure is too high now financially, so these changes could improve the spectacle.

How about an electric cattle prod in the managers seat that if enough of the crowd want more entertainment they press a button in a handset. Appreciate the risk Beast May develop repetitive strain injuries. How about the manager has to shout over the tannoy every 15 mins “are you not entertained” and if the crowd give the thumbs down Jose has had it and the lions are let loose

Just a suggestion.

Three fantastic ideas. The first two are genius but will need FA approval. Redman idea can be done by pushing buttons and on our wonderful screens at OT, we can get thumbs up for good play it thumbs down for mourinho get your act together.

I think you should be relegated if you have less than 30% possession or have less than 5 shots on target in five games or more during the season.

do you think mourinho is holding the club to ransom for a new contract? i just find it odd that the tactics have become so negative and performance levels have dropped so bad since the international break. maybe players are still carrying knocks.

to hear Jose say the attitude at Huddersfield was worse than a friendly is quite baffling and IMO means he has not prepared the team well for the game at all.
