Chaps,

Hypothetical question: If Wilshere doesn't sort his contract at Arsenal, is he worth a punt on a free? Or is he simply another crock on our books?

With the lack of depth we have in midfield at the moment and the fact that Fellaini and Carrick will likely leave this summer I would consider it. Quality player on a free, if he's fit he is another option, if not then he is only costing wages. Plus helps to keep the number of British players in our squad up.

Has a nasty side but is unfortunately made of glass. Given we need 2-3 players and funds could be an issue I wouldn't rule it out. But i'd prefer to avoid crocks.

Yes let's sign wilshere and bale while we are at it, it would be like collecting set of pokemon cards, we already have the injury prone defenders those 2 will make it injury prone midfielder and winger all we need after that is a injury prone striker that would complete the set.

A fit jack wilshere is A very good player so yes if he was to stay fit .
Unfortunately like bale history tells us he probably will not.

He'll probably go to Man City? Guadiola likes him and he's english and probably the best english midfielder we currently have on the ball.

Really good player before his long injuries. Always has his head up was telling my kids to watch him last night he always has his head up even running with the ball. If he plays at the level he did last night between now and the end of the season and proves himself then yes he would be an unbelievably good player to get for no transfer fee.
Highly doubtful and improbable He is an arsenal lad and if they were to lose ozil sanchez and one of their own Wilshere on free's and don't get cl football then Wenger should be run out of town.

Years ago, when Sydney was defending Cleverly every week, I used the discuss Wilshere with Stoner, an Arsenal fan. I like be Jack, I think he has incredible natural talent but sadly he doesn’t look after himself and he’s always injured. It’s like having a Ferrari that’s always in the garage. I love him but he’s never fit.
