A lot of posters on here seem to have gone off the idea of signing AG, and just wondering why that is and why PD is the better signing?

Having not seen either of them play a hell of a lot, they both seem exciting players and I was excited by the prospect of signing AG but the idea of signing PD also excites me. I guess what I’m asking here is, what is the big difference between the two (despite AG’s media issue)?

Would Dybala suit our system more? Are we worried Pogba can’t play with Griezmann?

Apologies for the multiple questions (no, I’m not Ronnie in disguise), just curious that’s all.

Hope 2018 is treating everyone well so far.

{Ed0333's Note - I think dybala and AG are that good they would adapt to any system you played if you got either of them mate.

AG wants to play in places where the climate is warm.

Maybe the solution is to get both? Now there's a thought!

It's all talk. We won't sign either. But Dybala is more ideal for us as he gets involved. Greizman goes missing during games and he'll be a disaster if we sign him.

See AG play a few times, was impressed.

What baffles me is yhere we A LOT of posters on here saying grease-man after ronnie and messi is the worlds 3rd best player (or wrds to that effect) but now those posters aren't i terested in him (not u scmid) .

I watvhed him before we lookes at him and i have to say he was phenominal. However, fornwhatever reason he has suffered this seaon somewhat.

They haven't whinged like Jose after drawing with Burnley. I'm a supporter since 1977 never been more sick of a manager. can't wait for the circus to end and get back to talking football not talking jose.

Thanks for your replies. It would be a shame that, if both are indeed attainable in the summer, we didn’t go for either of them.

It seems that recently we no longer fight for players. I know the market has become ridiculous with the amounts being spent on players, but I remember when we used to be he team stealing players from other teams noses, not the other way around. Obviously we don’t have much to go on other than the Eds’ expert knowledge and paper talk, but as soon as another club becomes interested in a player we want, then we lose out.

Time will tell I guess. Been hearing a lot about Jean Michael Seri being available and he looks a great player. Would anyone take a January window of him and Lucas Moura and go for a Griezmann or Dybala in the summer?
