We could do worse, but not to immediately be first choice. If he can accept being part of the squad and fighting for an opportunity then yes.

Oh and as long as he doesn't block Mctominay's progress - I've been impressed with what I have seen of him so far.

I agree McTominay is doing well, but then so is Matić too!
