I'm all for signing Sanchez but to say RVP is the last time we signed a player to "change the dynamic of the team" is a bit silly. ADM, Pogba, Lukaku and to a lesser extent Matic were all signed for big money to "change the dynamic of the team". Or do we only count a signing as "changing the dynamic of the team" if they go on to be a success? Which btw, there is no guarantee with Sanchez, although I'm still in favour of signing him but think he'll end up at City.

People have explained quite patiently why they are concerned about signing Sanchez, if you don’t understand the rationale and if you disagree or don’t understand then that’s fine. However, that doesn’t make them stupid. Some didn’t want Lukaku, some were concerned about RVP’s injury record when we signed him, Pogba’s signing created a lot of debate. People have different views, that’s life.

We have a good time on this site, we take the mick out of each other, we have a laugh but rarely does it descend into blunt insults. Occasionally is does but people quickly move on, you seem to excel in being obstreperous and insulting. Play nice.

Maze, why lower yourself to petty insults?

You disagree with me, and I'm fine about it. I even said in my original post that I expected to be in the minority. It's just a genuine view I have. I have given my reasons, and in my opinion they are logical and make good sense. That being said they are only one way of looking at things. I wouldn't be sad or angry or annoyed if we signed Sanchez, in fact I would be pretty happy as he is clearly one of the best players in the league. It's just my opinion that there are other equally as good or potentially better players available.

As you have stated your opinion is Sanchez is the perfect player, so I look forward to the us signing him as at least then we will have one player you won't slate for every poor pass or missed shot.
