Is it just me or is anybody else sad to see miki going, would have loved to have seen the best of him in a utd shirt, on his day a quality player shame its not worked out for him, hope he doesn't come back to haunt us.

There’s 2 types of “on their day” type of player.

The first is a player who will consistently perform at a 7/ 10, then on occasion, or for spells, perform at 9-10/ 10. This is your Pogba, De Bruyne etc.

The second type is a player who will either perform sub-5/ 10 or 9-10/ 10. This is your Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

For a club at the level of Manchester United, player number 2 is just not enough.

In a way yeh. I think he’s a very good player, playing for the wrong manager in the wrong system. I could see him doing well at Arsenal if he is involved in any potential Sanchez deal.

I'm sorry, Smooth. I really thought he was going to be a gem of a player for us. Unfortunately he's only showed glimpses of what he's really capable of. I thought the same about Kagawa as well, tho, so shows how much I know.

Eagles or turkeys, miki has turned into a bit of a turkey.

agree smooth i thought he was going to be phenomenal for us. I feel even more sorry for him that he's joining the sinking ship in arsenal!
