For me what Sanchez brings in a directness when he gets the ball, he is always looking to go forward, not back or sideways. It great to have him and it will improve all our forwards, the movement will be great to watch when Pogba and Martial are included. On another note great to see Carrick back and young Gomes reminded me of dare l say it Ronaldo when he first arrived just a pity he didn't get more game time. I think we have stepped up a level with our new signing.

He also brings much needed energy. He is tenacious, if our other players can lift the urgency in their play we will be a good team to watch. Pressuring defenders, making them make mistakes.

I'm also excited about seeing Shaw linking with Sanchez, there will be a lot of space created because of Sanchez, he is careful with the ball as well, so rather than Martial/ Rash on the left who are hit and miss with their use of the ball and timing of runs there could be a good relationship out there.

I hope Martial can switch to the right and adopts the passion/ tenacity that Sanchez has.

Dublin get back in your box you won’t get higher than 6th place with your geriatric manager.

Agree beastie, shaw and Sanchez is potentially deadly on that left flank. Personally I would put Sanchez right but if Jose puts Sanchez on the let it hope martial plays centrally behind Lukaku. We have options and I am buzzing to see what Jose has in mind for our attacking talent.

Dublin I love Arsenal but second only to ManUtd.
However on last night’s game, do not look down on Yeovil. The are hungry and passionate. Playing is not easy in the first half as they are not your regular diamond cut PL kind of team with big names. They are rough in the edges and yet tackle hard, in fact very hard and rough. It is difficult playing then if you value your legs. Sanchez was hit hard and so was Rojo. But we survived through it and the team played differently in the 2nd half and with a different game plan we won.
If Arsenal were to play then I am sure there will be shouts of bad refereeing and lower league team and roughness - the usual complaints from Wenger. So I’d give compliments to Yeovil where due but more compliments to our team for coming back strong.
Good game and good intro game for Sanchez with the team. Once Sánchez gets used to the way the lads styles I am confident the teamwork will be there and game will be fluid. Next game will be good rest on how fast Sanchez gels with the team.

Typically disrespectful Dublin, Yeovil put a lot into that game and frustrated us for a large part of it.

Ironically you are "it's only Yeovil " and that the exact kind of game your flimsy team would have lost.

Didn’t they get knocked out by only Forest 😂. Sanchez work rate has obviously had an immediate effect on the team, post match Herrera was praising how he works hard to get the ball back irrelevant of who lost it. A genuine world class player working hard can only lift the other players to that level as they have no excuses when Sanchez is putting in that shift. Bring on spurs.

Disturbing how a troll gets more replies than the initial post which was a good one, and fully agree with Redcon.
