A decent enough performance. on a positive note how many defenders were sent on yellow? Alexis caused havoc for them and that's what a traditional winger/ attacker do. after yellows they got in concious and more chances of a mistakes. and even red. that should be the target. that should Martial and Rashford need to learn. only speed won't do anything.
Bravo Sanchez.

{Ed0333's Note - Decent performance? I can’t remember the amount of times I fell asleep watching that?

Ed,

If you were asleep you probably aren’t the right person to judge, thought we did ok, very good 2nd half at times, deserved the win. Wasn’t much to write home about but a good 3 points.

{Ed0333's Note - I was figuratively speaking mate. I don’t agree that you played very good at times in the second half. Fair play 3 points is 3 points

Gds2 if we lost 10-0 You would say we played well though. Your positive.

I know you were. All about opinions I suppose, the fact there aren’t too many posts on here about the game would suggest to me we did alright. Did you not think Sanchez played well? McTominay looked good again in the middle in my opinion. Not sure who you support but guessing from the ‘you’ that it isn’t United.

The assault on McTominay could and possibly should could have been a red card and the Ref doesn’t even give a penalty, I was at the other end of the stadium and it looked a pen, seeing the replay it’s even worse, shocking decision.

Leahy,

I think if you read I said we did ok. Huddersfield hardly had a kick in our half, we controlled the game, nothing special but some good moments in the 2nd half and always felt we would win. Did you not?

That's twice I've watched Huddesfield this week and I hope they go down with their anti football and 80's tactics. I wouldn't get carried away with besting them.

This is the problem with us we beat a very poor team at home yesterday the most off form team in the league and everything is Rosie in the garden our football is shocking I am not going to say otherwise.

When the opposition are putting 11 men’s behind the ball and kicking lumps out of everyone, it’s hard to get any decent rhythm going. There was no intent to win from Huddersfield, just to foul and disrupt our play - they committed 19 fouls yesterday (plus all the ones not given), and very few of them didn’t leave something on the United players. It wasn’t the prettiest, but I’m glad we won and if the other team refuse to let a game be played then I’m not going to bemoan the United players for it.

Tcre,

Who said everything is rosy in the garden? You’ve read what you wanted to read and posted what you wanted to post before you have even read anything.

We were alright yesterday, huddersfield were physical and we beat them, we are now 8 points ahead of the amazing spurs who beat us on Wednesday. For me it is the opposite to what you say, after a defeat it is a disaster and everyone overreacts. Spurs played well on Wednesday, we didn’t, that’s pretty much it. Good result yesterday to be tus back on track and I expect us to beat Newcastle on Sunday.
