The bitterness and the total lack of ability to be objective or gracious is what makes beating Liverpool the best result of the season.

I love and get a real kick out of opening the papers or flicking through websites and seeing all the excuses the media and Liverpool loving pundits come up with every time we beat them.

It just shows how much it hurts them to lose to us, how twisted it makes them.

I love it, it's one of the best feelings.

Just think they could destroy all our fun of beating them if they were just gracious and said fair play you were the better team on the day. But knowing that even if they accept that on some level the pure hatred won't let them ever say it out loud.

Instead we get a second my second breakdown of the game trying to prove the result isn't the right result.

"We should have had X number of penalties"

"The ref never sent off * (insert United players name) "

"United didn't really win because they didn't play "proper" football"

"United bought the win on eBay"

"The ball didn't bounce right, United must have made a sacrifice to the devil"

"God hates Liverpool because United paid him off"

Etc etc etc.

I absolutely love it.

Great defencive display in the 2nd half shappy and enjoyable to watch too. Really well drilled and diciplined.

Shappy

I said this on live chat near the end of the game and posted about it lower down this morning.

I opened one paper to read a headline saying the poor darlings had 5 contentious decisions go against them, 3 penalties and 2 sendings off. It really just isn’t fair, they have been robbed. It really is nonsense but no one can beat them fairly. The thing is that attitude just propagates the issue that makes it difficult for them to move on. If they continue to believe they were just unlucky and it was all the officials fault, they won’t really look at why they lost and sort it out.

The article in the paper is likely because of the infestation of the press by Liverpool ex players and sympathisers. I can’t believe some of the bias I watch and hear. It is also increasing their sense of it being unfair, feeding a frenzy.

The only thing I haven’t heard is a request to replay the game supported by ex Liverpool player pundits, it wouldn’t surprise me.

Shappy great post 👍.
It only goes to show the bias we are getting. From Liverpool supporters I can understand but from the damn media 🤣🤣🤣 really pathetic.
Anyway it feels good afterall we were once the most hated club and can’t wait to be back to winning ways and make more hate us. I’d rather we win and be hated.
Watching the replay I cannot Stand this bloody Peter Drury. He says he is a football commentator but I think he is more like a Liverpool commentator. Commentators are meant to be fair but he has no shame and show his negative comments about ManUtd. He should never be commenting on any ManUtd related games. Useless bum.
