Kloppys doing a wonderful job with that defense it just makes a huge difference when you teach your team to defend rather then making pointless passes all over the pitch.

Van Dyke has been a massive signing. Next year they will prob have a better keeper and got Keita to come too. City looked to have just run out of steam at the wrong time. They will definitely spend big again. Have to say though that unless Aguero was not fully fit I think it was a massive error by Pep not to play him from the start. One thing is for sure we can conclusively say this City is not yet the greatest thing since sliced bread. Bring on next season.

Liverpool carried there luck over the ties but that's cup footb and and to be fair they scored 5 goals over the 2 legs, most goals scored in the CL this year .

Liverpool got some nice breaks at the right times but they played well enough to deserve the luck over the 2 legs.
Salah is on top form and the keeper looks more secure. Bayern are the team they need to avoid imo.

I agree, Tony. Take off the Utd-tinted glasses, and you can see they're an improving team, and there's no shame in saying so. Jred, yes, there's no reason why not, mate. They might well be found out against Bayern or Madrid, and we'll maybe see if the EPL is all it's cracked up to be in those games, but I quietly fancied them from before the City game. I certainly fancy them against Roma if they get them in the semis, and after that, why not?

I watched the highlights today jred so can't comment much but i think based on the highlights Roma wanted it more.

I don't agree Messi has carried them over the years i think Xavi and Iniesta has played an important role in Barcas most successful years.

This year Messi has tried playing deeper and is the reason why they failed today.

I think they are also missing Neymars quality on the pitch as he was important to them last year and so was Suarez. I also think Suarez's form this year hasn't been good and that is why they have struggled in the champions league this year.

Mesis needs to play further forward or Barcelona needa a top striker and that is the reason why they are going for Greezman to finish off thr chances Messi creates.

It could also probably be that there whole setup is wrong and needs a change of manager and tactics next year for them to perform to the level they have set for themselves over the last few years.

I watched the second half f the aroma game and I thought we’re dreadful. I wonder if they are entering a difficult phase. They haven’t really replaced Puyol or Xavi and now Ney, art has gone. Busquests looks old and they are lacking creativity. I know it was one game and they are top of La Liga but they haven’t replaced leavers with the right quality.

People do say this is the worst Barcelona side in a decade. Now before I get shot down I’m not saying they are poor but compare them to previous teams they have had it’s hard to disagree. With such high standards they are definetly not the team they used to be. ’I can see further rebuilding for them in the summer. Liverpool will not fancy Roma in the semi's, any team that can pull a three goal deficit back from Barcelona should not be taken lightly. Roma can defend well and counter, when Liverpool have faced similar opposition they have struggled. Mark my words though they will draw one of either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid and go out.

I didn't say Messi ia not good but i do think Xavi iniesta puyol pique busquets neymar villa have played a huge part in Barcaa success.
