Just read fellaini's comments about the contract negotiations, who does he think he is. You are Marouane Fellaini not Lionel Messi, only mistake the club made was to sign you in the first place.

He’s looking after himself BD his family and pushing for the best deal financially at 30 when he has limited years left. Not sure what’s wrong with that?

Should we not back the manager?
Jose type player.

So much hate for Fellaini. How obscene are Pogba's wages? Sanchez wages? have they set the world alight? Not really but hey, let's pull the wig down instead.

I'd say get rid too. showing no respect to the club with the comments. And he thinks he's a 50 mill player, probably wants about 250,000 a week 5 year contract too. Jog on to China mate.

What he wants isn't the problem herbie, his comments to media are. His comments indicate he thinks he is some really important player, he isn't. He thinks we need to spend 50mn to replace someone like him, he isn't. Any academy kid has more actual footballing skills than that belgian mophead.

I love how some people have on Fellaini and say he isn't "United Standard" even though he is clearly one of Jose's favourites. Plays all the big games if fit.

Yet they try and justify the potential sale of Martial based on him "not being a Jose type player".

How can you be happy to sell a player who isn't a Jose type player but not want to keep one who clearly is a Jose type player.

I think it just comes down to personal preference and people scrambling around to find justification for it.

They don't like Martial because in their opinion they don't think he works hard enough and he doesn't smile enough.

They don't like Fellaini because they think he is a thug and not suited to United's style.

However, Roy Keane was a different sort of thing so he is United through and through and a legend.

And yes Ronaldo only smiled if he scored and hardly ever tracked back. But that's completely different to Martial not smiling or tracking back.

Hypocrisy is all around us.

When you compare Ronaldo with Martial says it all.

Deep down all of you know Fellaini isn't a first team starter but he should be kept as a squad player if Mourinho likes him so much but i reckon he wants a long term contract and big salary that is what's holding him back from signing an extention.

I actually think martial does track back Shappy. Often see him in the lb area and does track his full back quite well. I think his lack of movement of the ball when we have it is the area of his game that let's him down.
His dribbling is better than most players around. His finishing is good normally. But i know it sounds silly but he doesn't miss enough chances simply because he doesn't make enough movement to get more chances. He is static too often when he receives the ball.
He isn't busting a gut to make a difference often enough imo.
He needs games to improve. That's why I wanted to loan him out this season. I think he would have come back closer to the finished article than he is now.
He is not for sale as far as i know he has been offered a new contract. If he moves it won't be for more money is imagine. It will be because he wants to go. If he stays it will be because he wants to fight for his place. He won't be pushed out the door he will only leave if he wants to.
