Just a quick question for any eds and posters. Not United related I know but what do people make of Platinis comments regarding fixing the pots at the France 98 world cup? It didn't get much coverage yesterday.

{Ed001's Note - it really made a mockery of his denial of 'breach of ethics' that has led to his ban from football.}

I agree. This of course was in 1998 and leading up to it. We are now 10 years on (even though it seems like not that long ago) . Got to question all other world cups and European competitions imo. Just the tip of the iceberg if he freely admits that and thinks it's ok.

Well i care in the integrity of the sport in regards to fixing, doping etc in all sports especially when it comes to club football and even international teams and tournaments, otherwise what is it? It's only for clubs and countries with the contacts to the most influential people in power and the most "creative" doctors and medical teams. I would definitely want to know the truth.

Your missing the point Angel, and mentioning that game in particular had a lot going on pre match.

Maybe FZZ feels equally as passionate about maths?

I was going to mention that yesterday. Makes you wonder what else they've fixed over the years. How pots are fixed. Reminds me of how Wimbledon was fixed so the Williams could only meet in the final.
