I know it’s an emotional sport but why do so many grown men start blubbing when they lose? Get a grip, it’s a game, a sport. I know the stakes are high, and it’s a dream, and it might be a once in a lifetime chance, blah blah blah, but so many of them sobbing is pathetic. This isn’t about Liverpool it’s pretty much players of every club.

There are plenty of things to cry about, losing a game of football isn’t one of them.

I was ranting in the house about grown men acting like girls. Then that poor bugger in goals took it to a whole new level, and tried to catch a ball like one as well 😁.

AJH nothing against what you said, you don't think people should cry over football fair enough but saying something like he is crying like a girl or throwing like a girl is textbook sexism, as i said we don't live in the 1950's anymore and such statements should not be encouraged.

CSM, I tend to judge a person by their actions, not words. I said that to my wife and she just rolled her eyes and smiled. Does that make her an accomplice?

I don't take offence to girls cry comment because it's a fact girls cry more than men. Plus the expression relates more to crying like a little girl not a full grown women! although AHH I disagree with the comment and think men are allowed to cry there eyes out in that situation :p.

I think a bigger issue is that men are criticised for showing their emotions and get told not to act like a girl. The biggest killer of men under 45 is themselves. If you are male and under 45 the most likely way you will die is suicide. Any statement that helps to propagate this antiquated viewpoint is backwards so csm I'm with you all the way and good for you for calling out sexist comments.

If you knew me and the troubles I've had, 12days, you'd realise just how far off the mark you are, mate. Doesn't mean I can't joke about it. And we really shouldn't be judging people we don't know, or have never met.
