Just wanted to ask.
Would you like to see the club buy milinkovic savic even at the cost of lossing pogba?
pogba is a very talented player no doubts, but he seems to lack that extra effort or sometimes just looks uninterested. personally, i would live to see him improve his performances next season, hopefully in a 3 man midfield.

Pogba hasn't been that bad.

Yeah he's been inconsistent but so has the rest of the team.

When we were free flowing at the start of the season he looked amazing.

The injuries to himself and Bailly had a massive knock on effect. Them 3 draws in a row and the loss to city really effected us

But if we can keep the spine of the team injury free and sign a few players.

Play like we did at the start of the season and we will see the best of pogba.

I don't agree with this let's sell him.

He's a fantastic player on his day and olif we were to get rid of him we will just be taking a step backwards.

Build the team around pogba not get rid.

Wouldn't miss him, I have to say, but that's not the same as wanting him gone. I'd have them both but if I HAD to choose it would be Savic.

I’d like to see Pogba play with all the tools to succeed then I can make a informed decision. Improve the defence / midfields and see if he performs without tactical restraints etc.

Marcelo - I've never seen SMS play so it's hard to comment to be honest.

The same can be said for Fred but from what I've read he's a tenacious player with great stamina. He's good on the ball and also a good dribbler. He's deployed in a midfield 2 for Shaktar so he could easily anchor our midfield next to Matic and also have the ability to start attacks from deep and drive us forward from midfield.

I've always believed that Mourinho's preferred formation is 4-2-3-1. I think he was hoping he could mould Pogba into playing a more disciplined role but unfortunately this hasn't materialised. Pogba is a fantastic player with some brilliant attributes but he doesn't sense danger and it's hard to label exactly what kind of player he is.

I fear the arrival of Sanchez has further complicated Pogba's role in the team as he's often dropped too deep and occupied Pogba's space. I've seen little evidence of this problem resolving itself as the season progressed. We've predominantly played a 3 man midfield since Sanchez arrived, primarily in an attempt to release Pogba and get the best out of him. This hasn't worked because Sanchez has often occupied his space and Lingard has been moved wide right making him less effective as well.

I'm not convinced 4-3-3 is going to be the way forward. For Pogba to be at his best he needs the wide men to keep wide and make runs forward creating the space for him in midfield. Sanchez won't do this and prefers the ball into feet congesting and occupying Pogba's space. Lingard has been ineffective on the right. He has often come inside too soon further contesting the middle and leaving us with no width. We are then reliant on playing intricate little one twos and short passes which isn't really Pogba's game. He prefers space to drive into carrying the ball forward and looking for runners in behind. As the defence retreat he can shoot at goal. He's much more suited to Martial or Rashford playing wide left than Sanchez.

I think it will be interesting to see how we line up next year. I think Lingard probably deserve's his chance at No 10, Sanchez always looks more effective with players in and around him where he can play quick one twos and feed off others.

I think we'll probably start next season playing 4-2-3-1. I think if Pogba is still at the Club he'll start next to Matic in midfield where he'll have to deliver what Mourinho expects. I think if he doesn't and we sign Fred he could well find himself out of the team.

I think Mourinho has grown tired and frustrated with a lot of players. I fully expect him to return to how he wants to play rather than changing his preferred system to get the best out of others. He can rectify this with his signings this summer. Fascinating window ahead.

A lot of our fans forget how good pogba and the team in general were up until christmas.

Pogba looked every bit the midfield player that we wanted at the start of the season.

Once alexis sanchez arrived and kept giving the ball away every two minuted ans dropping so deep youd think he was playing sweeper that pogbas form went off of a cliff.

Not sure selling Pogba, who was our old shiny new signing and ditching him for another is the way forward.

Personally, if Fred is the box to box mid we need, I’d play him and Matic and put Pog at 10 to cause havoc further up the pitch like Dele does at Spurs.

This comes down to Jose. It’s clear that he fell out with Pogba during the season because he wasn’t performing as part of the two dms. There’s no point in keeping him if Jose wants to play his preferred system. However, there’s nobody out there willing to stump up the cash to buy him. Unless he has an amazing World Cup, I can’t see Pogba anywhere but here next season.

Would be a massive mistake selling pogba. Bags of talent and he will go on to be one of the best midfielders in the world. He has a lot to work on but the raw talent is their at his disposal. I have seen Milinkovic-Savic play a lot this year as I have been watching serie A regularly and he is the star midfielder along with Jorginho in that league. Has all the attributes much like pogba - strength, vision, ball control and ability to score goals. They can play together so I would love to see them in a three man midfield, pogba on the left and savic on the right.

People criticise pogba but statistically he is better than he was at Juve. I know stats are misleading but I feel the reason why he is getting stick is because united aren’t winning the big trophies. At Juve we only really saw highlight reels of his outrageous goals but in reality he still went missing during games. He is lucky he had Pirlo and Vidal next to him and bonucci and chiellini to rely on when he gave the ball away. He does need to improve consistency but that is also down to how Jose deploys him. He must find a way of fitting Sanchez and pogba into the team otherwise we will see the same problems cropping up again. Interested to see what he decides to do. I like 3 at the back and two up top with 3 in midfield.

Anyone remember when Steve Gerrard was playing some of his best football behind the strikers at Lpool under Rodgers?

Thats the position for Pogba, tight in behind them, not in his own half. problem now Sanchez is in his way - the midfield and the defence would have to be stronger but I would like to see him there.
