Every summer the Ronaldo transfer speculation always hots up. This year I think there might be something in him leaving. If the €100 million is an accurate price, in today's market it's not a lot for what you'd get.

He's adapted his game to be a pure machine in front of goal. Whatever front 3 we play they could interchange mid game. Get 2 years out of him, bring the premier league home and have a proper cracking at the champions league.

I can't see it happening but a man can dream!

Would rather pay 70m for a 29 yr willian and even that wd be through gritted teeth but at least he is more what we need.

I do like Willian but is he going to be the difference between us catching City? We need another forward that can ad goals to our team, that's not Willian. He's very good on the ball but his final ball isn't great. He'd be a good addition but if Ronaldo is available it's a no brained!

Can’t pass up on Ronaldo at that price. Yes he’s 33 but he is like no other 33 year old. He has adapted his game and if we play him and Lukaku up top then we will challenge for the title. We surely cannot be letting Juve have a free run at him. He’s not the same player he was a few seasons ago in terms of dribbling but he is an absolute goal machine. And scoring goals has been our problem for a number of seasons.

I doubt he would go juve . He will probably end up going to Psg with either Neymar or Mbappe movin the other way.

Absolute must if ther3 is a chance he is moving. Forget the Willians and mandukic. Ronlado will 2in us th3 league and make us challenge for the champions league. He will also be a benchmark for some players and they will learn a lot from his attitude.

{Ed002's Note - Juventus have not, as of eight this evening, made any offer to Real Madrid for Ronaldo. They have however spoken with his representative, Jorge Mendes, about what it would take to get the player and whether or not he would be interested (given that there is aplan from Real Madrid to utilise him elsewhere in a transaction).

So would you get rid of Pogba and not use the money to buy Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and strengthen, but you would spend that money and a great deal more on a 33 year old with no residual value?}

If i think with my brain i would use the money to buy Savic.

Based on past experience Utd haven't used theeir brain often.

Thanks for the update.

Ed,

Just out of curiosity has anyone shown inerest in Pogba, i know we are looking to move him on but there needs to be someone interested. 😂.

{Ed002's Note - He has been offered to three sides but none have bitten just yet. A relutance to discuss players in a more creative way by MU would hinder Real Madrid interest which might just be there.}

Ed out of interest why are Utd offering Pogba? Has Jose seen enough and wants rid?

{Ed002's Note - It would be a way of raising money and critically removing wages. But right now it looks like he will stay.}

For me Ronaldo did not impress during the WC. Oh yes there were little cameos from the past, that Is past.
If it were an option I would rather have Bale who would be coming to have the whole team disrupted to revolve around him trying to live past glory days.
CR7? Thank you but leave the past where it is.
