10/ 10 is winning League and European Cup. With the house in order, playing the Utd way.
9/ 10 is winning one and coming close in the other. With the house in order
8/ 10 is fighting for the title and coming close in Europe. With house in order.
7/ 10 is competing and playing positive football with signs of looking ready to get back to the top soon.

Anyone scoring over 6/ 10 I question what they expect from Man Utd and a manager with 2 years behind him in the job. You are giving him too much time and expecting too little - it's about winning and entertaining at the very top.

Maybe my 2/ 10 is harsh, but we don't look like winning the top trophies, our squad is in dissaray, unhappiness permeates, the entertainment value is close to zero. Mid-Table teams dominate the ball and look more threatening than we do. Our potential stars are going backwards, existing stars not improving and looking shadows of the players we know they can be.

Between 2 and 5/ 10 would be fair, but I hate our style, hate the managers attitude and compare him to what Man City are doing, as they are the best team and benchmark.

First year was encouraging. Some good signings, 2 trophies, functional but showing some promise. Second season was worse. I know we were runners up but we had more new players and seemed to go into our shell.

If you look at the league for the top 6 against each other we were second so we were able to get up for the big games. The issue was the amount of points we dropped against ‘lesser’ teams where maybe Matic could have had a rest and we go at them.

I fear from Jose’s noises that the trend may continue. Whilst I dislike him I will be very happy to hold my hands up and admit I was wrong if he delivers but the signs all say things will come to a head this year.

Ed says he isn’t happy in Manchester, some I’m the club remain unconvinced, a couple of unhappy players being hawked around, apparently disagreement with EW over both purchases and sales, does anyone see Jose dealing with this in a grown up way?

We keep hearing about unhappy players but who's actually unhappy? Pogba because he never wanted to come here in the first place and expected to be in Spain by now and Martial who's been in a strop for 2 years.

Mort, those were the 2 I meant although the CBs can’t have been thrilled with his desperation to sign pretty much any CB he could. Shaw won’t have enjoyed being humiliated last year, Smalling and Jones were called out for. Or being committed, Valencia returned unfit apparently, none of this needed to be in the public domain.

AJH you are making sweeping assumptions.

None of the center backs have come out and said they're unhappy or done anything to suggest that is the case.

You should read Shaw's interview in which he said Jose had been privately very encouraging and has faith in his talent.

Perhaps what the media wants us to believe isn't so.

As for Pogba and Martial, I wouldn't shed a tear if they leave. Pogba, for me is not world class and never will be consistent enough to be world class.

As for Martial, Nani was way better for us imo and he got dog's abuse. The market is flooded with young talented wingers and we will have no problem replacing him.

Don't think the TV's are too safe in Darmian's house, Rashford was unhappy reportedly - I bet we don't read 10% of the stuff that goes on.

How many of the players actually look happy, or are playing like they are happy?

None of us know for sure. But I'd wager most of our players have been happier in their careers than they are right now! Most importantly the managers seems very unhappy and has done since he signed, it spreads like a disease.

Mort you seem to be hanging on to this pogba didn't want to sign as if every little thing comes down to that .
By the way he did sign.

8.) 15 Aug 2018

No I think 7 out of 10 not because of the Beasts scoring methods just because he picked the club up off its knees after MOYES AND LVG and only missed the title due to a freak of a season for City. Same can be said about people who only give 2 out of ten (toxics from the fergie era) . These people will never take to Jose. If he walked tomorrow who would we "Attract". Better the devil you know. 😆😆.

Jred I can only go on what's said and Ed2 has repeatedly said that he didn't want to come here. Of course he signed, look at who his agent is and the pay day he got.

15 Aug 2018 15:35:34
I've never EVER took a job I didn't want to do because of money Mort! Oh no wait. I've taken a few.

But Pogba would never EVER do it :)

11.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 15:42:12
Mort it was 2 years ago pal do you think United was first choice of every player we have signed?
It's just a job.

12.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 15:52:36
REDFAITH, that may be true mate, so why the need for all the public comments?

13.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 16:39:18
I've said before don't call me pall.
Its just a job he puts in half the effort in. Most of us did that in our jobs we'd be picked up for it. O wait Jose did pick him up on it. It shows he doesn't want to be here. If him and Martial had the attitude of Herrera things would be better.

14.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 16:58:47
Mort so is pogba your new target?
I hope he finds some form and proves your wrong pal.

15.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 17:02:34
Angel
Is that not what every player does?
It's just a job what people got a problem about?

I wonder how many of our players would like to play for Barcelona or Madrid or even get payed more cash for doing it?
Why is Jose at United, the love of the city or the cash.

16.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 17:15:39
No I have targets. Call me old fashioned but i'd like to see players put a bit of effort in. As I said I'm sure its just a job for Herrera but he actually looks bothered. And less of the pal. I'm not your mate.

17.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 18:36:33
Mort, I agree about Herrera darling. His attitude is great and I never understood how he went from player of the season to not really getting a look in. If every player had his desire and commitment we would be a totally different outfit.

18.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 19:18:32
Mort
So Herrera in the team pogba out dude.
Hope pogba proves you wrong has everythi g to be a top player.

15 Aug 2018 19:27:50
Jtroll tell ne where I said drop pogba for Herrera? Your selectively reading peoples posts again so you can cause arguments. Typical troll behaviour. And don't call me dude either.

15 Aug 2018 20:31:15
Its quite clear your nothing but a troll and I won't be wasting anymore time on you.

He didn’t object to darling.

25.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 21:30:13
No I don't like it, it comes across as condescending and patronising. AJH I let that one slide because I could tell you were taking the mick.

26.) 15 Aug 2018
15 Aug 2018 21:55:35
