So am I reading that right Ed?

Gerrard > Scholes
Lampard > Scholes

Oh dear.

Gerrard wasn't even the best midfielder for Liverpool, and for a period of time Alonso and Mascherano were a better choice for me.

Lampard was a goal scorer. He reminded me of Matt Le Tis. And don't mean that as an insult, he was almost not a midfielder.


The greatest shame is that England didn't manage to get all three playing to their club standard together in a three man midfield.

Fantastic, any chance he’d switch to Irish national squad now that Robertson is captain? He’d be a guaranteed starter, and have the pick of comely maidens throughout the land. We can pretend those Scottish caps were just a youthful indiscretion.
