Hypothetically speaking, who would you guys like to see replace Lukaku? (If he left) Personal choice is Icardi, realistic, available and actually a quality striker. Kane would be ideal though it's nigh on impossible to get him.

Martial, rashford or sanchez could easily replace lukaku and make him feel as if he has some competition for his spot in the team.

But if we are looking for a Mourinho type profile of striker then someone like giroud or mandzukic would be ideal for his style of play. Strong, hold the ball up well and bring others into play. But the goalscoring burden would have to be on someone else as they are unlikely to get more than 10-12 in a league season.

I've gone off Kane. He was never quick to start with, but he seems to have gone all Rooney post 2012 on us.

Icardi, Insigne could be good shouts. Although for Icardi we would need to create more chances than we do currently. I personally think we will go for Dybala, can see something happening with Pogba.

Also, i haven't actually 'moaned' about Pogba's off field issues (whatever they are) but more of what he does on the pitch, i. e. throwing his arms in the air when he loses the ball, dispossession, general lack of discipline.

Unpopular opinion but I'd take a stab at Balotelli. There are tons of reasons not to sign him but his hold up play is something I imagine Mou would be very impressed with.

Although if i had to 'be more serious' Lewandowski or Higuain would be my choices.

Fair enough scholes, may be moaned is a harsh word how about been unhappy about. Also it wasn't a knock on you, i have at times not been happy with pogba's off field antics.

I'd give martial a run upfront before I spent anything on a new striker, tracking back duznt look like his favourite part of the game and the spearhead may suit him, he seems pretty calm and collected when he has chances Infront of goal and sending a message to lukaku that he operates under the same rules as everyone else and will be under pressure to perform to keep his place isn't the worst idea . I'd use available funds on CBS and a right sided attacker before a striker .

Mandzukic is a great shout DSG. He’s a very underrated player and is such a big game player. Very integral for Juve and allegri is a massive fan of his.

I’d like us to steer clear of the ‘target’ man forward. I’ve never personally been a fan. Always preferred a dynamic and agile striker such as aguero, Rooney, mbappe as opposed to a Giroud esque player. It also means that we won’t resort to hoofing it up there.

Dybala would be my pick. However, allegri doesn’t seem him as an out and out striker and he is often played as cf/ second striker. I like Icardi a lot as well. Deadly in the box but doesn’t offer that much in terms of build up play.

Tbh I think we should give martial a chance. He’s our best finisher and deserves an opportunity centrally.

I don't want him replaced, but if he was to leave I'd try and engineer a deal with PSG with Pogba going to them and us getting Mbappe. Could you imagine an interchanging front three of Mbappe, Rashford and Martial?

I would like to try Sanchez up front with rashford and martial either side, Mata in behind.

Lukaku is in a dry patch. But I would certainly not give up on him. He is better than current form when his confidence is rolling.
