What do people make of Fred. I didn't see much of him before United but I'm not sure he looks to have the attributes of a game changer .
More a Herrera who can be a good player and important part of a good team .
Not really sure why we bought him to be honest.

Adds a bit of depth to an area we were previously lacking, I suppose. Still don't know what type of midfielder he is, to be honest. Not been overly impressed so far. I know he has plenty of energy, but for 50 million you'd expect a bit more than energy. I'd always give the foreign lads a first season though to adapt.

It can go either way with him . Judt look at Lindelof who is starting to show what a player he can be in recent times.

The type of midfielder he is, not very good.

Can’t see anything particularly impressive about his game, and doesn’t really impose himself either. Herrera is better.

I think his ball recovery is brilliant, his energy is great but just the composure that’s lacking so far. I think there’s a good player in there and hopefully come next season he’s settled in and kick on. Not quite sure where he fits best, from what I’ve seen maybe the Fernandinho kind of position?

Agree its like playing a different sport coming to the epl from shaktar.
He's played what half a dozen games?
Hard to make a judgement yet .
Tough time to come in. The team is unsettled and although its improving it was not a happy camp at all.
I hope he settles in over the next 6 month and we get to see more of him.

City where after him, would he look good in the fernandino role in a team with all that posseion and movement?

Then again would a lot of our players who supposedly aren't good enough look good in a team playing really well?

He's not played many games, so i think the jury is out on him still, its a Scholes type midfielder we need but players like him and Lubo Moravcik don't come around too often.
