With solskjaer being brought in as interim manager till the end of the year, I'm wondering if that means the club aren't looking at zidane, conte, blanc and jardim as all 4 are available. I think ed002 has previously said they may be interested in blanc though.
It's good to see them take their time and not rush this, after 3 failed attempts at replacing fergie, they need to get this one right.
If we are after pochettino, it's going to take all of the next 6 months to negotiate his release from spurs
Its going to be a very interesting 6 months with a lot of pages of newspaper pages dedicated to the search.

{Ed002's Note - I would put aside Jardim but you are reading things in to this that are simply not there.}

I think the club has more issue to sort at the moment than just who the manager is. The dressing room needs sorting, it is a divided and unhappy place to be right now. Yet that needs sorting before a new manager comes in. This way we have someone who knows the club and more importantly what the club should be. Someone who can start to knit the players together, make the dressing room a more harmonious place. We might then be able to tie down a few potentially key players to new contracts. Move on a few distruptive influences so that a new manager can come in and start building his own team without having to dismantle the old one or live with the consequences of doing so.

Ed, could you please expand upon what you mean here. This post seems a reasonable assumption to me, your clarity is appreciated as always.

Merry Christmas all.

{Ed002's Note - The post has assumptions in it that simply are not correct. There is nothing to say the club are not looking at specific options, there is nothing at all about taking 6 months to negotiate any exit at all - it is simply not true.}
