Great article in the Indi this morning summing up the ajoseJose sacking.

“Every problem that became apparent in that atrocious 2015-16 season at Chelsea, and indeed his previous spell at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, has played out with such predictability at Old Trafford. There has been the same out-of-date football, the same stubbornness, the same destructive arguments with club officials over transfers, and the same “toxic relationship” with players. He is a one-time great now past it at the top level. “

Amen.

{Ed025's Note - that sums it up perfectly AJH, most of us were saying the same yet there were still some who defended him mate..how i dont know..

I think for some fans we have this proud loyal thing of wanting not to sack managers and wanted it badly to work out under Jose. I was a backer of Jose and still feel the players need to take a look in the mirror but I am so excited after listening to the things OGS has been saying, I honestly feel optimistic and excited to watch us again.

{Ed025's Note - there is a fine line between loyalty and blind faith though WRD, it was a bad appointment and his demise should have came a hell of a lot earlier mate..

We're too emotionally attached, that's why the majority pick us to win the league every year.

I like OGS but we have deeper problems than he can fix. We shall see.

We support players that down tools and don't care about the jersey then when the manager drops them we still blame the manager.

Very true Ed and Tony, blind faith and red tinted glasses. Happy for Ole, hope it goes well, at least get us playing attack minded football I think most will be happy with at this point. There are more issues than the manager tho and the right DoF will be the best signing we can can make.

{Ed025's Note - no argument from me there mate..

Jose is far from finished i'd say he will pick up plenty more top trophies. Possibly even 1 or 2 this season.
Personally i think he should take 6 months out and reflect on areas where he has recurring issues. By all accounts his private persona is very different to his public one.
He was never going to succeed with out the full support of the board and players. He could win neither over. Wrong club for him because he never tried to change himself.
But he will bounce back and win again elsewhere. But he will Jane to improve in some aspects no doubt about that .
