Just saw this and thought it puts some perspective on how things are going at the moment.

"During Solskjaer's tenure, no side has won more points (19), scored more Premier League goals (19), had more shots (121), created more chances (87) or conceded fewer goals (6) than Manchester United. ".

Give this man the Job and sign 2-3 quality players, promote few from our youth and there you have a team that can challenge foe the title.

Tony, would it be a stretch to say we beat one of the title challengers away? lol.

True Shappy, but they had about 50 shots and we had 1 that went in. Lies, damn lies, and statistics.

Clearly I’m joking but there is an important point here. Arsenal lost their first 2 games and then had a very long unbeaten run and looked a decent team, now they are very inconsistent. Chelsea started very strongly and Sarri looked like a great appointment but now they and Sarri are all over the place.

I’ve just replied to your earlier other post about ‘winning’ Managers and I worry that Ole will be judged solely on results (Di Matteo springs to mind) . It’s a great run but deciding whether all one is the right man for us is a much wider decision than a good run, or even a few bad results.

I read this morning that ‘Ole will get the job if he beats PSG’ which is very worrying. What about how we win? Beating them 4-0 with swashbuckling football, or sneaking a scrappy goal and hanging on for dear life for 89 minutes?

The results are great but more importantly the players look like they are playing for each other, look like they are enjoying their football, are playing with freedom. We had a poor result at home on Tuesday which is Ole’s first test, how will we react? I’m enjoying the ride.
