A very youthful squad heading over to Paris. Greenwood, garner, Gomes and Chong included. Also Brandon Williams has been called up for the first time too, a young left back who's just stepped up into the 23s.

Regardless of the result this is a chance for ole to see some of these kids in action and see how they handle playing in a big game. It's a really tough ask for them, but it will a great opportunity for them, hopefully no overreactions if we do concede a few. As long as we see a fully committed performance I'll be happy enough.

good post Caolan, out of that group of young lads I can only see garner or chong starting but hopefully we see gomes and greenwood as well, like you said i'm not expecting too much result wise just a fully commited effort from the lads.

It will probably be :
Lukaku, Rash and Dalot up front.
Fred, McTominay and Peirera in midfield.
Shaw, Lindelof, Smalling and Young in defense.

Chong/ Greenwood from the bench hopefully.

I think we could see greenwood play, Only a guess though. Ole has namedropped him a lot from his first day in charge. Maybe play him on the right? But it would make sense to start with the side TRD has suggested. But we have nothing to lose and I won’t complain if we see a lot of these kids.

I think we’ll see a back 3 tomorrow. Midfield is very weak, and we need some protection behind them. Our best bet is to use Rashford and Lukaku to hit them on the break.

When Rashford burst onto the scene he was thrust into a European Game 2nd leg with us 2-1 down and scored 2. He then scored 2 against our next opponents Arsenal.

Well here we are again. Down in Europe and Arsenal up next. Greenwood to match or better Rashford’s start with 2 hat-tricks. One can only dream.
