Proud doesn't cut it.

BELIEF, PASSION AND JOY have been restored to this sleeping giant. We are back.

I hope the draw is favourable, top 4, a champions semi final and FA Cup win wouldn't be a bad year.

Ole's core squad is clear :

De Gea, Romero, Dalot, Shaw, Young, Lindelof, Smalling, McTominay, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Mata, Rashford, Martial and Lukaku.

The above names have all earned their place in this squad. Garner, Chong, Greenwood and Gomes supplement that. Tuanzebe could come back into the mix too.

I don't expect a mass clear out; but the remaining players are all fair game and I think we would accept offers for them if they come in, Sanchez included. Darmian, Jones, Bailly, Rojo, and Sanchez will all have their price. Andreas and Fred may have done enough after that game.

I can not wait for the day Ole gets the job and can formally build for next year. I can see a step change in our transfer policy. Players under 25 that can be moulded and peak with us. I'm excited by the rumours, De Ligt and Joao Felix being the main two.

I want to plead Bailly's cause. He struggled last night, but I think he has a lot of talent, and can shine if he can improve like many others have.

{Ed025's Note - have you seen him play daniel?...hes bloody useless..

No effort, no application and reckless. Bailly should be one of the first to go.

He reminds me of Rafael, very impulsive, dives in and often gets left for dead. I’m not sure he will make it with us.

I really thought he would but like with sanchez my patience is exhausted.

Yeah he's too rash. I'm not convinced either.

I will stick by Bailly. I know he has a streak of rashness, but he has the tools. He is quick, aggressive, and has more ability on the ball than the rest of the backs besides Lindelof. I will keep faith in him, and that Ole can bring out the best in him.

{Ed025's Note - its all about opinions mate..

Bailey is low on confidence and is trying to do more than he should. He was 1 of our best performers in the 1st season and now suddenly people want to get rid of him. If we have been patient enough with Smalling and Jones then I think we should give Bailey some more time to prove himself. He is quick, strong and can easily bring the ball forward. His dribbling is really very good for a defender. The only problem is that he gets carried on. Due to this he can leave his position and get sucked out of position just running behind the players with the ball. It's just that aspect of his game that he needs to work on.
I've said it before that I would like to see him in a defensive mid position against some smaller team where we want to give some rest to Matic. In a game where we might dominate possession and the opposition tries to hit us on the counter. For these games Bailey will be good as he is quick and strong, he will be much more suited than Matic who is not as fast to catch the opposition.
