OGS may or may not turn out to be the Messiah, but he has already achieved something that we should be eternally grateful to him for. He has reminded us, and everyone else what our club is about: promote youth, work hard, look to attack (yes, yes, I know some will disagree), itâ€™s about we not me, respect the traditions, focus on the positives.

In recent years it hasnâ€™t felt like my club, our identity was slowly being eroded and that was accelerating under Jose. I have said so many times that winning is not everything, although I know some people disagree with me. I have no choice, I am forever connected to the club and itâ€™s traditions, supporting United is part of who I am, win or lose.

OGS has shown class, respect, and positivity and hopefully with time and investment he can deliver success. The owners and Woody remain concerns but with Ole in charge, we can once again be who we should we.

Wherever we finish this year, next year, the year after, Ole I salute you for what you have already achieved off the field.

Sorry AJH but Ole has not brought back attacking football, or promoted youth.

Apart from the first few games, we havenâ€™t played attacking football. We have sat deep and countered, very much in the JosÃ© style.

Giving young players a spot on the bench and a few minutes at the end of game does not constitute promoting youth. No young player, who wasnâ€™t already playing regularly, has played any significant amount of time under Ole.

I like Ole as a person, and I hope he succeeds. But anyone who says he has transformed the way we play is not being honest with themselves.

Danny, I think the results have tempered the approach, suddenly top 4 looks achievable so caution starts to creep in. I don't accept the first few games argument either, it's only recently performances have dropped. We may have stalled somewhat but a simple observation from me is how many players we now have in the opposition area, significantly more than under previous Managers.

My wider point was it now feels like United again.

Effect, injuries. They couldnâ€™t sustain it. Yes he gambled a little in certain games. I for one admire that. I am sure he wanted to see how other members of the squad fared under pressure. Some did (PSG) some didnâ€™t (Wolves) . He canâ€™t play the game for them.
We all know this squad is not deep. But with key players out injured people still expected him to deliver. I am sure he himself wanted to and I think he tried to. And for the most part he did. He got the results up until these last couple of games. But when he tries and fails all of a sudden he has no idea. Everyone looses, even the great Man City and Barcelona loose. People didnâ€™t say that when they beat Arsenal in the cup. When they beat Spurs. When they beat PSG. Everyone lauded him on what a great job he was doing. But now all of a sudden he doesnâ€™t know what heâ€™s doing? Itâ€™s very difficult to play attacking attractive football when you have your best team, when you have a healthy team. Itâ€™s almost impossible when youâ€™re struggling to put a midfield out.

I have to agree with Danny here. The attacking hung go performances of the first 5 or so games are not being replicated now. We are very much men behind the ball deeper and counter now. There is a difference in approach and weâ€™re playing poorly atm. Ole is a gamble. Hopefully it pays off.

I said this during the winning run, he could have done without it, people are now expecting far too much, the season was a right off 4 months ago now people are getting their knickers in a twist because we lost a game we should have won and might not make top 4. Give Ole a chance, he might fail but we will have a lot more fun trying with him than we did under the last 2 managers.
