Jonny evans has been really good today for leicester, still baffled we kept the chuckle brothers over him in defence.

He's not that good, but he's better than them. Not sure SAF would still have him now but he would have lasted longer than he did.

Can play out from the back, knows the basics of defending, good enough in the air and can communicate.

Only glaring weakness he has is a lack of pace.

Sold for about £5m to West Brom, then went to Leicester for about £14m. Terrible business on all fronts for Utd.

Feel he is at his level now though, and doing well - i'm happy gor him as he is a good laf. He is pushing on in years and has learnt a lot over his career it seems. TBH he still isn't a virgil van or a Vincent K. we need that kind of quality - now he may be slighty better than what we have (or may not) but i don't think he'd push us to a better level. Good luck to him but we neef world class now.
