Congratulations ed1, Liverpool were great last night, the way the whole team played was amazing to watch (highlights only though) and quite enviable. The desire and effort shown by everyone involved was amazing.
Also I think last night showed all the Liverpool fans why exactly was Suarez so much hated by every opposition supporter, such a d*ck.

{Ed001's Note - I hated him when he was at Ajax, I really never wanted us to sign him. I hated him more while he played for us. And I hate him even more after he laughed in Robertson's face in the first leg after their 3rd goal. Then he kicked out at Robertson and injured him very deliberately, and I just kept thinking that someday he is going to do that to the wrong person. Or was that hoping?}

Ed001 imagine Suarez trying those antics with someone like Roy keane or gattuso? As a pure footballer Suarez is fantastic. As a human being he is vile. A lot of Liverpool fans I know personally have turned on him.

{Ed001's Note - he is very lucky he plays in the modern era. In the old days he would have never have made it the way he plays.}

But there aren't that kind of players any longer ed1, the game has mellowed down quite a bit. Imagine him trying that with Edgar Davids.

{Ed001's Note - it is a shame because a good tackle was as exciting as a shot. Nowadays a good tackle is followed up by the opponent doing a triple salsa with tuck and roll. I absolutely loved watching Davids play.}

Davids was immense. That was a great Ajax side. Couldn't believe Milan sold him when they did. Would've loved him at United.
