Sly Sports reporting that if City were to receive a Champions League ban this season and Arsenal were to win the Europa League, we would be given City's Champions league spot.

Not sure how much merit there is to this idea as it's seemingly new ground and City will no doubt appeal which would probably push the ban into the following season, but that would be embarrassing if it came to pass.

Don't get me wrong, if City are found to have cheated the system, they should be punished, but to be playing in the Champions League next season based on our season would be farcical.

Cheated or not, we do not deserve to be in CL with this timid mindset when playing. I would rather give it to Wolves who are far more adventurous and a greater unit as a team.

Wolves finished below us. If City went out and someone else was to be awarded it, we would deserve it. The league is meaningless otherwise.

Disclaimer: This does not mean I think we're a great team or that we deserve Champions League over the teams above us.
