How anyone can want City to win today is beyond me. An unprecedented treble, complete domestic domination.

Who cares if our players have to play an important game in July. I'd give my right leg to play for Manchester United and would want to every day of the week. Sod pre season plans. Come on Watford!

Fresh, I don't want City to win. I just won't be too upset if they do.

That qualifier in July would be a massive thorn in preparing for next season. It would leave us with one of three options.

1, fly out to China, fly back to Europe for the qualifier, the fly back out to China then back to England for the start of the season. Clicking up over 48 hours in flights, 20+ of them entirely due to the qualifier.

2, split the squad and take half to China for the pre-season tour while leaving half behind to play the qualifier. However, this means only half the squad will have been trained and prepared for the season with the manager and it could leave our squad disjointed for the start of the season.

3, take the whole squad to China and send the under 23's to play the qualifier. This option means we either have to keep our best youngsters behind so they don't get a chance to go on the tour and start assimilating with the first team. Or we do take them and we play a qualifier with our under 23's minus the most talented ones.

All are terrible options in their own right. All of them risk detailing our season before it kicks off. If we get knocked out of the Europa League in July the bad press would mean starting the season on the back foot. Splitting the squad means not allowing Ole a full and proper pre-season to get his ideas across and drill the players in how he wants them to play as a team and get their fitness up.

The best we can hope for is sending the kids and hoping they get a result. That though is a hugely risky move.

They’re paid to do this Shappy. People travel the globe all the time and have much tougher schedules than footballers.

Very true fresh, and I don't think they will be getting easy jet or Ryanair,

Or just don't bother with the qualifier.

Doesn't matter how luxurious your transport is. Travelling long distances back and forward takes it's toll on anyone.

For my part I am happy City won.

They have been a great team this year and I have enjoyed watching them play.

They dominated the game today and I think they are one of the best teams to grace the premier League.

I am not one for tribalism, so I am happy to admit I am glad the best team in the country won. everything.
