Does anyone have any thoughts on what formation OGS will look to play next season? Presumably the players being bright in are designed to fit the system he has picked.

I’m hoping that the focus on bringing in James and AWB means that we are going to play some variation of 4-5-1/ 4-3-3.

The diamond formation used toward the end of the season was a disaster, as it congested our play in the middle and isolated our fullbacks. With James being a classical winger, and AWB a more defensive oriented fullback, we should be able to add some real width to our play.

In breaking need
AWB and Dias will solve our defensive problems. This will allow OGS to radically dispense with the outdated practice of using a keeper. Thus allowing United to overload the midfield, dominate games and destroy the opposition.
