Why don't we give dalot a chance at rb.
Why don't we promote Ethan laird to cover him.

Club needs a reset, sell the stars and play the youngsters until the virus is completely gone.

If we did this I wouldn't care if we finished 10th if it meant we was rebuilding the right way.

A 10th place finish would be a disaster. Please wash your mouth out.

sorry Big V disagree completely. neither are ready and it would be lambs to a slaughter relying on them to get us out of this mess. AWB and dalot together would be great options. it is all well and good saying oh promote the kids but where are the experienced or seasoned leaders that set the standard at this club? that is the issue. the likes of the class of 92 came into strong dressing rooms where they knew they had to work to reach a certain level of performance. our dressing room is a joke. until we sort it out these talented youngsters will be just that. and before we know it they will be corrupted by the cancerous attitude which is rotting our club to its core.

Because neither are currently good enough, and both are more likely to fail to make the grade here than a more proven player.

This insistence on playing the youngsters is getting out of hand. If they re good enough, they ll get into the squad, until they become good enough to hold a perma position, stay on as a squad player or leave.

Glad you re not in charge.

Dalot will be a good backup for Shaw and AWB (if we sign him) .
He can cover both left and right fullback spots.

We need to forget the obsession with proven players, we need to coach and improve our own.

This will allow us to rebuild and mould the mentality at the club.

I know the glazers wouldn't allow this but this would be the best solution, I don't care where we finish as long as club is reset.

Thing is big V there has to be something there for the players to be Improved.

Some players are already past the point of improving.

I am not convinced that Dalot is the answer defensively to improve our back 4. I would take Wan Bisaka over him and have Dalot as a change option in game or for certain games as a rotation. I can also see games where we may go 352 with Wan Bisaka in as right side of the 3 at the back which could allow for Dalot to provide more attacking width who can help at the back (bit like England did at world cup)

I would like to see Dalot cover both RB and RW, with a new RW signed this summer.
AWB, new RW and Dalot would cover our right side for the season.

I was impressed with Dalot's attacking attitude last season. He has work to defensively, as do all youngsters.
