I really wouldn't take dybala,

Does not suit the style of our team.

Has no experience in the premier league and would probably just be another lazy flop.

So you would only want to sign players who have played in the premier league?

Big V I agree but not for the same reasons.

I doubt you’ve watched Dybala if you think he’s lazy. I wonder if you are just trolling which is a pattern with some of your posts.

Him having no PL experience has no relevance whatsoever. All players bought from abroad have no PL experience when they first arrive. They have to start somewhere.

Dybala is an excellent player. I do see his best position as CF and that would be my reason to not take him, unless Rashford was pushed out to the right which looks doubtful.

You won't want Fernandes, Pepe etc either as they have no EPL experience either?

Big V,

Please could you expand on him not suiting the style of our team? I’m not saying we will sign him I just don’t understand this part of your post unless you’ve never seen him play.

I agree with the sentiment, I don't think Dybala would be a good signing. However, I actually think he could be a huge hit in the EPL. He has some similar qualities to Aguero although he likes to start slightly deeper.

However, I don't think he is the right fit for us. He would play best either as the deeper of a front two or in the No.10 role.

We don't really have a need for that sort of player. If we are going to sign a forward we need a creative player who chips in with 10-15 goals a season who is most comfortable playing from the RW.

Although Dybala has played most of last season from the right it was by far his worst season for Juventus and one of the reasons they are prepared to sell him.

Then of course there is the simple fact that Dybala doesn't want to sign for us. That alone is a good enough reason not to sign him. We have pushed to sign players who don't really want to play for us in the past. They never play their best football for us and we often end up selling them at a huge loss, especially when you consider the wages and agents fees we have paid to bring them to the club.

Supposedly all things considered Di Maria cost the club £112m for one season. We sold him for what £54m how much was wasted to sign a player who didn't want to be here.

That is why Dybala is best avoided.

Hes a cracking player. But he doesn't want to be at united. That's why I would avoid him.

I like your thinking Shappy. A player that 'could be a huge hit in the EPL'.
Yeah, why on earth would we want him. Would stay well clear if he is anything like Aguero. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole mate - especially i'd Pogba and/ or Lukaku leave.

Im not making a case for dybala shappy. But why do you think we have no need for a 10. On our tour we played predominantly a 4231. i'd say a player like dybala is ideal for that system.
We have mata jessie and periera there just now. Dybala would be an upgrade on any of them that's for sure. But only if he is up for it.

If he WANTS to play for Manchester United then he could certainly be a good signing.

He can play all across the front 3 and at 10.

However I think Ed's have mentioned in the past concerns from other leading clubs relating to his ability to adapt. Which would be. Red flag to me.

Id like to see Zaha come in for RW.

Ole said in a recent interview that he could play with 2 up top (speaking about Martial and Rashford)
If that’s a formation he’s thinking of using then we should 100% be looking at Dybala.

He is a very talented lad I'm not sure I see him in the EPL and manchester tho.

Ken, Dybala would be an upgrade on anyone we could play in the No.10 role, unless we sign Bruno Fernandes. Which is quite likely.

However, we have other areas that are more important to strengthen. So spending huge amounts of money on a player we don't have a pressing need for and would rather be playing elsewhere seems silly.

Given the choice I would prefer Bruno over Dybala as he can play either an No.10 or No.8 which is more useful to us plus he actually wants to play for us.

Me too shaps. I know dybala is a top player in the right league and surroundings. i'm just not convinced he is for us.
I disagree though we don't have a pressing need. If we play that system none of our current ptions are good enough to play there over a full season. Not good enough. Don't create or score enough.
